Brits Raid ChatGames Offices

Angered by flagrant American cultural imperialism, a small group of determined British triviots has created an immense library of character names and stars from British television programmes.

Led by Fireman Si, the group submitted a list that includes characters and actors from over 1000 programmes. Contributors included ChatGames UK regulars Curlylox, LoneRanger, Lump, Musicbox and Smiffy.

In a pre-dawn raid, the group forced its way into the ChatGames administrative offices and began singing Spice Girl songs, threatening to continue until the body of their work was added to the BoobTube game data tables.

"We just want to see more characters with names like Nigel and Prunella", explained FiremanSi as server administrators were forced to upload the rebel data.

American players will now have to contend with programmes like 'Worzel Gummidge Turns Detective' (1953) and 'The Secret Diary Of Adrian Mole' (1985).

Server Gods Grumble

The server gods are demanding their due, so it's time to start our fundraising efforts for the year. As you probably know, we only raise enough money to pay for the server, web boards and domain name. Everyone who "works" here at Chat Games does so voluntarily and we rely on the community for our support. Our needs for this coming year are $2800 and we need to have it in hand by 22 September.  The sooner we reach our goal, the soon we can stop begging!

150 New Films Added To FilmFest

About 150 new films released in 2007 have been added to the FilmFest game data library. Research was conducted under the auspices of Ms Kimmmie from the Philadelphia branch of the ChatGames Film Research Institute.

Many new actors and actresses were added as well.
